Note to Self
In grade school and high school, I lived my life in yearly cycles. In college, I went through two cycles every 365 days. Now, working in publishing, the wheel that is my life turns so fast…every 30 days. Lineup meeting and conceptualization, production, layout, proofreading, printing, and finally, promoting the issue. I haven’t really had the time to feel everything, document all the exciting things that’s been happening, and think about where I want to go next. I’m going with the flow, giving my best shot every time. That’s the best thing to do. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job. I love that I’m learning so much, I’m meeting so many people who inspire me, and I get to do what I want to do, which is to write and create something for other people to enjoy and learn from. But I also feel that I should take it easy sometimes and make time for myself…hence my promise to moi to kickstart my birthday month by blogging again, having a decent exercise routine, making time for more rest…I can go on and on…
I’m only 21 and I know I’ve already experienced so many things many people my age have yet to achieve—I’m very, very, very thankful for that. :) All these wouldn’t be possible without God by my side. So, I say I should make Him proud by actually living, and living according to His will. :)
I will do my best to stick to this pact I made with my best friend—me. :)
