When I went to Davao last March for my first ever press trip, I had the chance to try so many different dishes and desserts! One of the most unique among all those I tried is the Durian Gatchpuccino from Blugre Coffee. I’m not a coffee person, and I can’t stand the smell of durian, but I surprisingly enjoyed this concoction. The coffee toned down the durian’s intense taste, creating a nice, unique flavor. Good news for everyone here in Manila, Blugre is about to set shop somewhere along Katipunan (within this year, or early next year, if I remember exactly). I will definitely pay them a visit when that happens, not just to have a Durian Gatchpuccino again, but also to load up on their heavenly desserts (they have lots!).
