I don’t know who started calling us Mean Girls, but I recall that it took us quite some time to embrace the ‘title.’ Like, we’re so not mean kaya. :p Fine, we are. But only when we need to be. Most of the time, we’re fun-loving, ultra-feminine, talkative, wacky women, who are not afraid to show the world who they are and to give people a piece of their mind.
Ela and I rode to CS on our first day in college; her Nat Sci class came after mine. Anne was my classmate in Geog, but I actually didn’t notice until several weeks after (as it turns out, she was really avoiding me, even though we were blockmates! but that’s another story). So when did the three of us actually become close? While I need help with this one, I am certain of the reasons why our friendship ticks: 1. We don’t compete with one another; we are happy for each one’s success, and cheer each other on when the going gets tough, 2. We each have our quirks (read: kaartehan), but we know when to compromise, and 3. Well… I think it’s just meant to be. ;)
Ela and Anne, how do you like this entry? O, wag masyadong mag-feeling, na-tripan ko lang to write an entry on you. Haha. Seriously, thank you. :) I know sometimes I can be so petty, and O.C., and maarte, so thanks for putting up with all my mood swings. But as they say, “birds of the same feather, flock together,” hence…
Anyway, I’m really happy that all three of us are well on our way to making our dreams come true! :) That said, let’s conquer the world together! And we should do it soon before you two get married and have babies because I know you so want that to happen already. xx
